Letter from the Mayor

This past week brought some tough storms for Graettinger, and the strong winds left their marks on our homes, our properties, and many of our beautiful trees. But as always, our community showed exactly what makes Graettinger such a special place. Neighbors helping neighbors, friends checking in on one another, and volunteers stepping up without hesitation. That's a spirit that defines our small town.
I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to organize and help with the cleanup efforts. From hauling branches and clearing streets, feeding the volenteers, or lending a hand when it was needed. Your hard work makes a tremendous difference. I know I'll forget some names, so please know this: I value and appreciate each and everyone of you. Your willingness to come together in times of need is something truly remarkable.
Graettinger is strong because of its people, and I'm proud to serve a community that shows this kind of heart.
